Terms of Service

Who we are
BrokerPilot is a website and client-management platform for Canadian REALTORS®, operated by Vantage Real Estate ("we", "us"). It is reachable at brokerpilot.ca and it also hosts the public websites of individual agents on their own domains.
These terms apply to agents and brokerages who use BrokerPilot, and to anyone who uses a website we host. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. How we handle personal information is described separately in our Privacy Policy at brokerpilot.ca/privacy.
Accounts
BrokerPilot accounts are for licensed real estate professionals and the people who work with them. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account, and should tell us at once at hello@brokerpilot.ca if you think someone else has used it.
Your content and your clients' information
What you put into BrokerPilot — client records, documents, website text, photos and messages — stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you, including publishing your website and sending the emails and messages you ask us to send.
You are responsible for having the right to use that content, and for having the consent the law requires before you import contacts or message them, including under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation and the privacy laws that apply to you.
Listing data
Listing information comes from Canadian real estate boards under licence and is shown under the rules those boards set. It is believed reliable but is not guaranteed; confirm anything material before relying on it.
You may not copy, scrape, resell or redistribute listing data from BrokerPilot or from a website we host, except as your own board's rules allow.
Estimates and generated drafts
Home-value estimates, comparable-sales reports and other analyses in BrokerPilot are computer-generated estimates, not appraisals. Text the product drafts for you — listing descriptions, document summaries and similar — is a starting point. Review both before you share them; you remain responsible for the advice you give your clients.
Connected accounts
You can choose to connect a Google Business Profile or a Meta (Facebook) account. Connecting authorises us to act within the permissions shown when you connect, for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, and you can disconnect at any time.
Advertising we run for you on Meta runs in your own ad account and is billed to you by Meta directly. Real estate advertising is subject to Meta's Housing special ad category rules, and we create campaigns in line with them.
Your website
You are responsible for the content of the website we host for you and for meeting the advertising rules that apply to you as a licensee, including your regulator's and your brokerage's. We may remove content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or puts the service at risk.
Acceptable use
Do not use BrokerPilot to:
- send spam, or message people who have not agreed to hear from you;
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- access accounts or data that are not yours;
- scrape, overload, probe or interfere with the service, or reverse-engineer it;
- enter other people's details into the public forms on your website yourself — such as the home-value form — in bulk or without their consent, including to generate valuations or comparable-sales reports beyond what your plan includes;
- get around your plan's limits in any other way, including by opening more than one account.
If you do any of these, we may suspend your access, take down the website we host for you, or close your account.
Fees
Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price and interval shown when you subscribe, and renew until cancelled. Applicable taxes are added. Features and prices may change; we will tell you before a price change applies to your subscription.
Free access
Some of BrokerPilot is free — your website and CRM Lite — and some tools come with a free monthly allowance or a free trial period, shown in the product. Monthly allowances reset on the first of each month and unused ones do not carry over. Free access is offered at our discretion: we may change its limits or withdraw it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep BrokerPilot available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features over time.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using BrokerPilot at any time. We may suspend or close an account, or take down a website we host, if it breaches these terms, including the acceptable-use rules above. When an account closes, we handle its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell account holders about material changes before they take effect.
